The style of the game is similar to that of a rogue-lite game, in that it is heavily procedural and random while still forcing the player to make deliberate choices in order to advance. ![]() The goal is to explore and battle monsters in order to make progress and discover the protagonist’s identity. Dead Cells takes place in a dungeon-like environment where the protagonist wakes up with no memory of how they got there. ![]()
